Each family page explains how the valve works, where the pattern fits, and what an enquiry should state — size, pressure class, body material, end connection and operator. Gate valve
Isolation only — never throttle. K ≈ 0.15

K = typical resistance coefficient, fully open. Order-of-magnitude reference only — confirm against the manufacturer’s published data for the size and trim quoted.
Choosing a family by duty
Start from what the line must do, not from a catalogue. Positive shutoff on a line that is otherwise always open points to a gate valve; regulating flow points to a globe valve — the trade is set out in gate valve vs globe valve. Fast quarter-turn shutoff with a tight seal is ball valve territory; large bores where weight and cost dominate favour a butterfly valve, compared in ball valve vs butterfly valve. Dirty, scaling or diverting service suits a plug valve, and a check valve is the one pattern with no operator — the flow itself works it.

How quotation works
Send the valve list as it stands — one line or sixty — by phone, email or WhatsApp to the counter in Subang Jaya. The quotation that comes back states what is offered from stock and what is on indent, item by item, with the certificates you asked for named on it.
